In a serious accident involving a limousine, 20 people lost their lives this weekend at Schoharie, New York State. The police confirmed on Sunday afternoon (local time) the number of 20 dead.
All 18 occupants of a limousine were killed, including the driver. In addition, two pedestrians were fatally injured at the scene, said Christopher Fiore of the New York State Police. All victims are adults.
The accident occurred on Saturday in the excursion site about 270 kilometers north of the US metropolis New York. According to the police, the limousine crossed a crossroads and hit a parked vehicle. Photos show the severely damaged accident car in a ditch next to the road.
