Actress Jamie Lee Curtis, 59, does not want to have a big party for her 60th birthday on November 22nd.
“I’ll celebrate so quietly that even my neighbors will not notice,” said the daughter of film stars Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis on Tuesday in an interview with the German Press Agency in Hamburg. “I will have my family around me and mute my phone.”
Jamie Lee Curtis is currently on a promotional tour for the horror movie “Halloween”, which will start in German cinemas on October 25th. On Tuesday evening she was expected in Hamburg for the German premiere of the film.
40 years after the original horror shocker “Halloween – The Night of Horror” (1978) by John Carpenter, the actress again slips into the role of Laurie Strode, which made her famous at that time. In the current film, Curtis plays the aged Strode, which is now suffering from a post-traumatic stress disorder.
