Plane crash in Ethiopia: 157 people die – Many UN employees are victims


Ethiopian Airlines’ Boeing 737 was on its way from Addis Ababa to Nairobi when it crashed shortly after take-off. There are no survivors. 

  • A Boeing 737 crashed in Ethiopia.
  • 157 people died, among the fatalities are said to be five Germans.
  • At least a dozen UN employees were aboard the machine.
  • The crash machine is type 737 Max 8 – a machine of the same type crashed in Indonesia in October.
