Billionaire Richard Branson wants to do more with music again – and announces a new music festival. “The heart of the Virg*n brand has always been music and entertainment,” says the 68-year-old entrepreneur in a Wednesday press release.
“I’m pleased to announce that we’re launching Virg*n Fest, an innovative music and technology experience that will be different from any other festival series.”
The Rolling Stone magazine told Branson about the diverse activities of the Virg*n conglomerate: “When we’re dealing with space and cruise ships and hotels, it’s important that we keep our roots in things like festivals.”
The new festival will take place next year on the west coast of the USA. About details such as time, place and the expected artists wrap the organizers still in silence.
