Trump sets out on Germany – and warns the country with drastic words

A short treat at the Consumer Electronics Show in Shanghai: a popular booth with a bob of US President Donald Trump was closed on Thursday. The display of Japanese company Soliton Systems was obscured on the third and final day of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in the Chinese city. The Trump-Wackelkopf, the trade fair guests had hammered extensively with hammer blows, had disappeared.

The organizer of the CES in Shanghai, the US industry association Consumer Technology Association (CTA), said it had already issued on Tuesday a “warning” to the Japanese company. The exhibitors had contracted to renounce “offensive” contributions, said CTA on request of the news agency AFP. “We will not tolerate disrespect for public persons.”
